This questionable crew assembled on Bob Patterson's birthday for an impromptu picnic (and some flying). The birthday boy received a 6 inch wingspan Hellcat which was a Comet "Solid Scale" kit dated 1944 and cost 10 cents at that time. This is an appropriate gift since Bob is our scale mentor and he likes to fly small planes. Also, it is fitting that this kit was given to him to serve as the new club trainer.
