Tommy is holding an electric flying wing: the Zagi-400 by Trick R/C. Powered by a SPEED 400, she brings quite a bit of excitement to our flying field. The 48 inch low drag 19 ounce airframe is very rugged and often used for combat.

Pictured on the EWMA Officers' collage page is a small electric that has no speed control and only one servo, which is rudder-only one way. Best not to be in the air when a sprinkle comes up because you will just have to wait until this craft runs out of power. Even though Tommy flies .40 size models quite often, he enjoys small airplanes also. They are a handful in windy conditions -- he likes the challenge. Tommy also is experimenting with micro planes.
