Academy of Model Aeronautics Application
The AMA Membership Application is available as an Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) file. It can be viewed on a computer and printed which will look exactly like an original copy. Acrobat Reader is necessary to make this possible. You may download a free copy by accessing Get Acrobat Reader. You will need to select your operating system. The form can be used for either an Open, Park Pilot Program, or youth membership.
Full/open adult membership includes the AMA's monthly Model Aviation magazine. Those 65 or over may take a $10.00 deduction in dues. Open members can subscribe to the quarterly Park Pilot magazine.
A Park Pilot membership is available and includes the quarterly Park Pilot magazine. Aircraft must not exceed 2 pounds, 60 mph, and may not be powered with an internal combustion engine. This membership has reduced liability insurance and no accident/medical insurance. Park Pilot members can subscribe to Model Aviation magazine.
There is a youth membership with greatly reduces dues for those under 19 years of age.
