Activities:

Daily Flight
We fly, weather permitting, at the Model Airplane Field at Edwin Warner Park. Our field is designated by the Metro Nashville Park Board as an electric only flying area. On any given day, we might be flying electric airplanes, helicopters, sailplanes (gliders), or ducted-fan jets. On rare occasions, there could be freeflight or rubber-motored planes. If it's too windy, you might see some kites.

Flying hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM during the months of March through November. Fying is permitted in December, January, and February from 8:00 until dusk on weekdays and Saturday. On Sunday, the hours are noon until dusk for these three winter months.

The field is located in Nashville, TN's Edwin Warner Park, across from the Steeplechase grounds on Old Hickory Blvd. From OHB, turn South at the traffic light onto Vaughn Road, then take the first road to the left. Drive to the end of the road. A map to the field is available as a PDF file. (This is a map to the old circle runway but it gets you to the new one just as well.)
